The Phi-TEC I is a bench-top adiabatic calorimeter designed for detailed thermal runaway characterization during process development and scale-up. The system replicates industrial-scale adiabatic conditions at laboratory scale, enabling safe and efficient evaluation of exothermic reactions and runaway hazards. Using direct sample temperature measurement and rapid thermal compensation, the Phi-TEC I accurately tracks exothermic events while maintaining adiabatic conditions.
